Aqua-Manna Fish Growout
System
Aqua-Manna
offers our full size recirculating system for fish growout. The
growout system consists of a two part,
snap together, hot-dipped galvanized steel frame, including
plywood and butyl rubber liner. The culture side of
the tank is 6' wide and 32' long, the filtration side is 2' wide
and 32' long. The filtration side contains one SETO
(vacuum drum filter), six gear driven rotating biological
contactors. A multifunctional pump sits at each end of
the culture tank and fully recirculates the entire system volume
every five minutes. Multi-Functional Pump: This fractional
horsepower pump is known for its dependability, low energy usage
and the fact that it

can
move in excess of 600 gallons per
minute, foam fractionates and supplies in excess of 1 pound of
oxygen per hour while stripping carbon dioxide from the water.
This pump is truly remarkable. Made of stainless steel and UHMW
polyethylene, it is virtually indestructible.
Aqua Manna Vacuum Drum Filter: Automatic
variable speed filter continuously filters solids from the
water, handling up to 1.7 million gallons per day. Known
throughout the industry for its durability and low maintenance,
this unit filters 1200 gallons per minute. The solids are
automatically sent to a diversion area that fits your barn.
Aqua Manna Rotating Biological Contactor (RBC)
This revolutionary RBC is powered by a unique gear
drive system, that keeps the biolfilters turning at an optimal
four rpm. Virtually
maintenance free and because of the design, is self cleaning.
The Aqua-Manna fish growout system can handle up to 60 lb. per day of 32%
protein tilapia feed. Between our farmers and our own culture,
hybrid striped bass, largemouth bass, tilapia, rainbow trout, yellow perch,
hybrid bluegill, koi and fancy goldfish have all been reared in this system
successfully. Performance example: Through the proper
grading and splitting of fish, 2 nursery systems and 9 growout systems can
produce 120,000 lb of tilapaia/year*.
