Aqua-Manna Newsletter
January 2011

Hello Michael,

Hope everyone had a great holiday season and you are starting to enjoy the New Year.

In 2011 Aqua-Manna is expanding its product base into the wastewater treatment industry.  Aqua-Manna, the Indiana Department of Environmental Management and the City of Wingate are working to improve wastewater discarge and decrease energy use at their municipal wastewater treatment facility.

The farms utilizing Aqua-Manna equipment throughout Indiana and the rest of the U.S. continue to raise the best seafood available.  We look forward to adding to the growing number of producers using Aqua-Manna products in 2011.

Sincerely,

Jim Bradley,

Aqua-Manna LLC

Aqua-Manna Enters the Wastewater Treatment Industry

 wingate pump lagoon 3

Aqua-Manna has joined with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management and the City of Wingate, IN in a study to decrease effluent and increase energy efficiency at its municpal wastewater treatment plant.

Many small municipalities in northern areas that rely on lagoons for wastewater treatment have difficulty maintaining their effluent water quality during winter months.

The study will use the Aqua-Manna wastewater treatment multifunction pumps to mix, aerate, and biofilter the lagoons.

The Aqua-Manna equipment should use less than half of the energy currently being used at the plant.

Shrimp Equipment Price Increase

Aqua-Manna is increasing the cost of their multifunction shrimp pump to $7,500, up from $6,250.

Increasing cost of materials as well as some design and material changes are the reasons for this increase.  The cost is still below the price of $9,600 when the pumps were first introduced.

The price increase will not go into effect until February 14, 2011.   Any orders made before that date will get the lower price, so get your order in soon.

The price of $7,500 should still allow producers to pay for the pumps within the first two years of production. shrimp pump
